Dear OpenVAS users,

the OpenVAS release 8 has reached its end-of-life and the Greenbone/OpenVAS
team plans to discontinue support for this release in about 13 weeks from
now at August 27th 2018.

If you still use OpenVAS-8, please take all measures to upgrade to OpenVAS-9
during the next 3 months.

Important:
After retirement of release 8, the Greenbone Community Feed will not be ful=
ly
compatible anymore with this release! The Feed will be opened to NVTs that =
use
new functionality introduced with the successor release and likely cause =

errors when used with deprecated releases.
