Sorry about this.
I did read recommendations for mailing lists, but obviously missed some of the
points ... as I had no ideas how things worked here. Each community has its own rules.
I also usually trim answers ... but may forget. I am often worried about
giving enough context, as my own memory is not so good. What I do is given the
critical short context quote above my reply, and the complete context below,
in case it is needed. But if there is a strict format ...
I also make efforts and take time to be complete and clear, which not everyone
does. etc.
But, for a first reminder of the local rules, a nicer style would not hurt.
And I still do not know where to submit my code mofifications for "old"
