The trick is the filter. You probably have the _myrequest filter which only
gives you notifications if you're maintainer on the target project.
You want a 'author' 'oneof' 'kfreitag' filter (replace kfreitag with your
login name). Note: no filter gives you notifications about _every_ 
change to a request, which might sum up ,-)
