This is for SLES11 or SLES11 SP1.

I searched the archives and cannot seem to find any documentation on creating media \
that will automatically kick off an autoyast install on an EFI/UEFI platform.

For standard x86_64 (non EFI), I can edit boot/x86_64/loader/isolinux.cfg to look \
like this which will read autoinst.xml from the root of the CD and do the install. \
This works.

# autoyast install
label Install
  kernel linux
  append initrd=initrd ramdisk_size=131027 autoyast=default instmode=cd netsetup=0 \
textmode=1

For EFI -- which does not use the standard ISOLINUX -- I tried editing the elilo.conf \
found inside of boot/x86_64/efi to look like this and then writing it back out to the \
CD as a secondary boot record. It will boot from the CD and load text based Yast but \
never gets any further. It complains about not being able to find CD1.

image=linux
    label=linux
    description = "Install"
    initrd=initrd
    append="instmode=cd autoyast=default"

Any ideas? I suspect my elilo.conf append line is wrong (at the very least!).

Cheers.
