That method doesn't always work for me. I would test by doing:

zypper refresh --force --releasever 15.5

(I don't know if I got the syntax correct, I have bad internet, so can't 
test)

Check in the output that all repos refresh correctly. If some don't, 
edit it.

Me, I prefer the manual method.

Then, read

You can also boot the DVD, and choose "upgrade":
