i7-10510U was launched nearly 4 years ago, so is clearly old enough for mature
Gnu/Linux support.

This failure description suggests to me to do what follows expediently with
expectation it needs to be returned for exchange or refund due to hardware defect:

1-check if a BIOS update is available
2-make sure applicable firmware is installed
3-If it has only one RAM stick installed, try it in a different slot, and install
a matching second. If 2 or more, swap them around.
4-run memtest at least 4 full passes. 1 only is inconclusive.
5-check whether grub linu line addition
	nomce
had any effect.
6-Check with live media of some other distro, e.g. TW.
