But surely you know that Leap is based in SLE, at least the core. The
kernel is part of that core. The idea of using that core is to reduce
the effort need to produce and maintain openSUSE Leap, by just using
what the SLE team produces.

Producing a kernel with different settings, regardless of how you name
the package, would break that.
