In the old days, we used the "poster" commandline tool in the KDE3
print dialog to do this, but that only supports Postscript files. It's
still available in the main repo.

There is also pdfposter
(http://software.opensuse.org/package/pdfposter) which does the same
for PDF's.

For a GUI you can try KPrinter4
(http://software.opensuse.org/package/kprinter4).

PosterRazer also appears to be another option
(http://software.opensuse.org/package/PosteRazor).
