  If I recall correctly, the kdm3 (default) in YAST is just a very very old
default from 10.X days that probably has not changed in years. I scanned the bug
and among the bickering over whether sysvinit is dead, blah... it is referred to
as a "kde problem". I think the problem may be a yast default problem. (or
/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager default problem) Just a thought...
