Hi !

Simon123 said me last night "Write the mailing-list" ! :-)
I do !

I bought it for a customer and after discuss with Samsung Pro help-desk.
I had explained their the computer works with OpenSUSE 12.1 (now .2 up
to date) and I wanted to be sure it would work.

But it doesn't.

First attempt, on a fresh install, It does. After 5 days,
the customer call me to ask help cause she wasn't able to
print or scan.

The scanner is now ok : I create a job to mount usbfs
(see "cron" on my site)

The printer always gives me two different errors :
- (/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertosamsungsplc) crashed on signal 11.
or
- "/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertosamsungsplc failed"

I checked the driver's files rights and I try it as user and root.

I had to modify the SmartPanel install script cause variable
$DESKTOP_OWNER was not properly declared. I set it with the user
name.

I did not sleep much, but I hope I have said enough for you to help me
because I really need, I'm at the end of the solutions I could find
myself.
