Two yast icons appeared: one had settings above it, the other had
applications. clicked both and got the same result: An Administrator
Settings Box. Didn't ask for root password. So I stopped here. Thanks

a new window will open, asking for your root (aka: Super User, or System
Administrator) password...give it...

a new window will open, YaST Control Center...on the left highlight
"Software" (it probably already is highlighted) then on the right single
click on "Software Management"
