Just so I understand:

Per http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/dbus#DBus1.3.1

the 1.3.x series is a development series and 1.2.x is the stable
series. And of course openSUSE 11.3 was released with the stable
1.2.x series.

But 1.2.x is either buggy or lacks features that dolphin for KDE 4.5
relies on. And unfortunately KDE 4.x effectively relies on dolphin as
its main file manager.

I'm running KDE 4.4 from the 11.3 official repos and I have not
noticed any major bugs with dolphin. If I upgrade to 4.5, should I
expect dolphin to become unreliable?

Thanks
Greg
