Is it possible on 11.0 to use zypper to update everything except kernel? I see in /etc/zypp a file "locks", but nothing about how to use it. If I try to zypper up -t package, zypper wants to remove kernel-pae, without telling me which kernel-pae it wants to remove. kernel-pae-2.6.25.18-0.2 kernel-pae-2.6.27.7-10.2 kernel-pae-base-2.6.27.7-10.2 are installed. 2.6.27 is from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ilya_41/openSUSE_11.0/i586/ and necessary because pre-2.6.26 kernels provide unusable broken networking with OS/2. -- "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control."
