Not if that module snd-via82xx exists
Mine is in /lib/modules/2.6.18.8-0.1-default/kernel/sound/pci/snd-via82xx.ko
the kernel version may differ on your machine.  

You need to find out a) that snd-via82xx.ko exists on your machine, and
b) what the interrupts should be.  Might scan thru /var/log/boot.msg to
find these or try lspci
You might then try modprobe or insmod to manually load snd-via82xx.ko
and see if the log reveals anything.
