Bug ID: 2762
Summary: wishlist: VisualUserKey
Product: Portable OpenSSH
Version: 7.5p1
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: ssh
Assignee: unassigned-bugs@mindrot.org
Reporter: nfc17284@vornet.cz
It would be nice to have VisualUserKey option that would have the same
effect as VisualHostKey but would show randomart for the user key I'm
using to connect.
Not really a security improvement I guess, but in situations where I
have more than one key and I should be using different key for
different host, developing sense of how my key "looks like" could make
it easier to see possible problems with my configuration (eg. why my
key is being refused?).
