on the home page goes to a specific announcements anchor.
2) Add RSS feed for Announcements.

reporting page:

Java Desktop System

/Community Changes/

1) Add ability to turn on/off inclusion of the Blogs, Announcements and
News from a community home page.

+ When editing the main community page, you now have the option to
select the number of elements that appear on the /community home/ page
for Announcements, Calender Events, News items and Blog entires. Options
are [None, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, All].

2) Removed community leaders from the top of each community page. Added
a link that reads [View Community Leaders]. The link takes users to the
list of
community leaders. Also Added a "Leaders" link to each community section

3) Add functionality to allow for uploading HTML files as community
pages as an alternative to providing the content in the textarea.

/Site Wide/

1) Blogs, Announcements, News

+ Add the same functionality described above in the community section
(#1) for the top level home page.

2) Added a 'print' style sheet

+ Switch to print.css for printable pages, remove all the wrappers (top,
left nav, etc) and bump up the font size a notch.

/Jive/

1) Change the 'normal(s)' to read 'subscribe' and 'unsubscribe' and
replace the current headers with 'Email Action'.

/Events/

1) Add Events as a database driven elements similar to News. It would
have a specific Events Role, which allows the user to access the
[Add/Find Events] pages.
+ The Add Events page fields are:

[Start Date]/[End Date] OR [Date] - In case of one-day events
[Event Name]
[Event URL]
[City Name]
[State] - Optional
[Country]

/Other Changes/

* Modified the News Archive to display all entries, not just the top 20.
* Modified the News home page to display top 20 entries.
* Replaced the "Article Publisher" role with the new "Site Editor" role.
A Site Editor has privileges to managed articles, news, announcements,
and events.
* Added "hide/show" links to the list of blog archive categories.

Source Browser Changes
---------------------------
1. JDS sources are available from

http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xref/jds/

2. ON code SCCS revision history now contains actual file
changes(deltas) with comments.

3. SCCS revision comments for last five years before open sourcing ON
consolidation are also available, with out the associated file changes
(deltas). Such revisions numbers are stroked-through in the source
browser file history page.

+ This means that you can now search for a bug number, or ARC case
number or engineer id in the History field.

For eg.

  a. Searching for "PSARC 2002/188" in history field
http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/search?hist="PSARC+2002/188" will show
files changed due to PSARC case 2002/188.

  b. Searching for user id sch
http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/search?hist=sch will show files
touched by Stephen Hahn.]

4. Source Browser can now search through many more file formats like
ELF, Java class and jar files, archive files like zip, tar and gzip files.
