I don't know how the qla work, but the basic process is setup the
discovery process between the initiator and target.
You can setup the iSCSI initiator (QLA4050) with SendTarget discovery, 
the discovery
address will be the iscsi target ip-address, the next thing to do is 
enable SendTarget discovery
at the initiator (qla).

To setup ZFS target, take a look at the zfs man page, the basic command is

   zfs set shareiscsi=on volume
