This specific case of log files came up in

The latter resulted in
6492262 It should be possible to add reference to service specific log
file(s)
which you can view at
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6492262 .
A more general "help text" field seems innocuous enough. If nobody
comes up with a good reason against it, file a change request on
bugs.opensolaris.org .
