I have built a single disk diskset which is visible to two hosts; I've taken ownership and mounted file systems on each one in turn. However following reboots sometimes when running "metaset -s testds -t" to take ownership it returns "there are no existing databases".

Running "metadb -i" shows two databases:
        flags first blk block count
     a m pc luo 16 8192 /dev/dsk/c2t0d0s6
     a pc luo 16 8192 /dev/dsk/c2t0d0s7

[Ok on the same physical medium - this is only a test server]

Also metaset is showing the disk set:

Set name = testds, Set number = 1

Host Owner
  nex2
  nex1

Drive Dbase

c3t1d0 Yes

The device in question is visible [from "format"]:

       2. c3t1d0 <DEFAULT cyl 1022 alt 2 hd 64 sec 32>
          /iscsi/disk@0000iqn.2008-04.net.linuxha%3Astorage.disk1.bongo0001,0

The disk can be read from:

# dd if=/dev/dsk/c3t1d0s0 of=/dev/null count=1000
1000+0 records in
1000+0 records out
512000 bytes (512 kB) copied, 0.362238 seconds, 1.4 MB/s

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, can anyone please enlighten me?

Thanks in advance,
Simon.
