Without information about _what_ kind of events are generated, it might
be hard.  I suppose you could enable debugging in the kb8042 driver and
see what happens.  You might want to have a look at the code.

Getting information out of HP is likely to be hard.  You can check
around on Linux forums though, and see what other folks have got working
for Linux.   If there is something working on Linux, likely we can make
it work on Solaris.
