Last night I tried to install S10U3 inside vmware on a 500GB disk but ran into a "small" problem: the disk partitioning using by Solaris (fdisk) does not seem able to deal with large disks as presented by VMWare. To test whether or not it was a vmware vs solaris bug, I tried FreeBSD - it recognised the disk and its MBR table correctly. Is this a known bug? Or an issue for some other forum/group?
Is OpenSolaris any better in this regard?
