Hello Everyone,
Wanted to clarify that Sun has been providing pretty much all our software to \
education for academic and research use for free via the EduSoft program for several \
years now. There are two options:
- Schools can purchase a year-long subscription for US$495 and get a media kit with \
nearly 100 Sun software products. This includes the original base kit and 3 quarterly \
updates. There is no-cost for the SW licenses for academic and research use. The fee \
is solely for the media.

- Schools or faculty/staff/students can download a subset of the for free. This \
includes all of the developer tools including Studio 10, Java Studio Creator and Java \
Studio Enterprise.

Of course, Studio 10 available on opensolaris.org but EduSoft is a great place for \
students and faculty to get other developer tools for free. For more info, visit \
sun.com/edu/edusoft

Enjoy your free software for Edu from Sun!

Gary
