Hi 

   Bug 6932552  must be addressed for  OSOL 2010.3   as it seems to  affect large 
   numbers of laptops.   

    Easiest fix is obviously to make an aditional  GRUB menu selection that 
    as default boots the opensolaris in a text boot.
