Don't hold your breath - since Oracle isn't releasing /dev builds to
the general public, you won't be seeing them until the next Oracle
release, and so far, none has been announced until the Solaris 11
release planned towards the end of 2011.

OpenIndiana does have /dev builds, but that integration is where
they have hard decisions. If they continue to track us, and accept
these changes, then they lose Intel driver support, as the Intel
driver in that putback requires Intel DRI modules in the kernel with
KMS support, which neither the OpenSolaris or Intel kernels have.

They could maintain an older branch of the Intel Xorg driver from
upstream, but then they'd have the added burden of porting that to
new Xorg server versions, as Intel doesn't maintain a non-KMS driver
for current Xorg releases.

Of course, someone could (and someday someone should) port the latest
KMS changes to the illumos kernel, but that took around 9 months for
full time engineers at Oracle to do, with a dedicated QA person testing
on multiple machines (since Intel graphics are builtin to either the
motherboard chipset or the CPU itself, there is no testing multiple
models in the same machine by just switching cards).
https://www.illumos.org/issues/577 is their tracker for that work.
