I tested WebGL with OpenIndiana oi_148 and Firefox 4.0 b8 (here is a
test for example: http://webglsamples.googlecode.com/hg/field/field.html
). It seems to work with GPU acceleration.
To enable it, open *about:config* and set *webgl.enabled_for_all_sites*
to *true*.
Also, you might want to set *layers.accelerate-all *to *true *but it
doesn't always help (sometimes it only loads CPU more). See a related
