Hi 

   Tried to enable  3d virtualisation for VirtualBox  and  an could not, so  my research  led to 
finding that  in the  directory :

/usr/lib/GL/amd64

there is a symlink

libGL.so.1 -> ../../../../var/run/opengl/lib/64/libGL.so.1

which points to nonexistent file .

the link, I assume , is supposed to be:

libGL.so.1 -> ../../../../var/run/opengl/lib/amd64/libGL.so.1

which in turn points to /usr/X11/lib/NVIDIA/amd64/libGL.so.1 
in my desktop machine  since it has a quadro fx 1800 card. 
After this correction the VirtualBox GUI allows me to click in the 
3D acceleration box.
