I had the same issues (with internal machine noise buzzing, etc.) and
got a Creative Labs Sound Blaster MP3+ USB that works great under Solaris:

<pre wrap="">Hi, my subject says it all :)

I have nice amp+speakers, so internal soundcard with all the buzzes from cd spinning \
and cpu working is getting on my nerves. So - I want to get a nice`n`cheap USB \
soundcard to listen to sound more clear than my ICH7 Intel laptop device do.

Any suggestions?
