Summary
- With respect to Question 1, Article IX of the Constitution is
amended as noted, with 197 Ayes, 30 Nays, and 8 Abstaining. With
368 Core Contributors, 184 Ayes were required for an affirmative
majority.
- With respect to Question 2, Article VI of the Constitution is
amended as noted, with 199 Ayes, 35 Nays, and 1 Abstaining.
- With respect to Question 3, the 2008 - 2009 Governing Board, in
alphabetical order, are
* John Beck,
* Alan Coopersmith,
* Glynn Foster,
* Jim Grisanzio,
* Stephen Lau,
* Simon Phipps, and
* John Plocher.
1 Member abstained on this Question.
- With respect to Question 4, the Top 5 Community Priorities are
1. Deploy a public defect management system.
2. Deploy a public RTI system.
3. Deploy a public code review facility on opensolaris.org.
4. Deploy a public wiki on opensolaris.org.
5. Create an infrastructure project to run opensolaris.org.
18 Members abstained on this Question.
We received 22 replacement ballots (of 33) during the extension; 9
late ballots were ignored. (As done previously, the ballots will be
made cryptographically inaccessible in one week (or sooner given
Board guidance); any contemplated disputes or appeals should be made
promptly.)
