It seems a possible solution is to update to VMware 6.5.0beta build
110068...
... but it would still be nice to know a workaround, e.g. disable the
JVM's hotspot engine and only use JVM in interpreted mode (since the bug
is caused by an issue how hotspot creates native code for the CPU "on
the fly" and VMware not detecting the changed/added code properly).
