Just an update. Installing 2009.06 via AI behaves in exactly the same
way as the Live CD install.
BTW: Installing via AI on Xeon hardware (IBM X3650) (using default manifests), with \
the DHCP DNS tweak, results in an apparently working system but no gdm console login \
on the monitor. Is this normal behaviour for default AI ? are we still missing \
something ? Did find some discussion on changing the grub menu.lst to graphic, \
doesn't make much sense since opensolaris with xvm boots in text mode in menu.lst but \
still launches gdm console login.
Another question: Why does AI download over 1G of package data from
the IPS repository only to install 250M ?
