A project has been formed to provide support for the gcc 4.x and GCC for
SPARC Systems (GCCfss) series of compilers in OpenSolaris.  The project
is focused on two aspects.  First is the actual compilers --- getting
them supported and integrated in Solaris.  The second is the code
changes to Solaris which are needed because of the lanugage differences
between gcc3.x and gcc4.x.
