Sorry for the delay, but the ON nightly for 20060731 is now available at
the usual URL:
http://dlc.sun.com/osol/on/downloads/current

*********** READ THIS MESSAGE FIRST BEFORE YOU GO AND BUILD *********

**IMPORTANT**: This delivery contains the putback for 6311077. This
means that ON now *REQUIRES* either the gcc or Sun Studio 11 compiler to
compile. If you have previously used the Studio 10 compilers and wish
to continue compiling with Studio (instead of gcc), you will have to
download and install the new Studio 11 compilers. Please see the
following URL for more information on how to obtain and install the
Studio 11 compilers:

http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/tools/sun_studio_11_tools/

You should ensure you update your SUNWonbld package. It is important to
make sure you get the latest cw (compiler wrapper), version 1.18
provided by SUNWonbld. If you don't have it, you may encounter ctf tool
errour messages during your build... for example:
ERROR: ctfmerge: ../../sun4u/genunix/debug64/genunix: Reference
         to invalid type 36667

If you wish to keep Sun Studio 10 around (in the case of other
consolidations which may not have moved to Studio 11 yet), you should
make sure you set the appropriate SPRO_VROOT variable in your nightly
environment file so that it points to wherever you installed Studio 11.

enjoy!
cheers,
steve
