As of now, the Quagga project is an official OpenSolaris project:

The Quagga project seeks to integrate the open-source Quagga routing 
protocol
suite (www.quagga.net) as-is under /usr/sfw ? the SFW consolidation. 
Quagga is a
fork of GNU Zebra (the version of zebra currently in sfw ? SUNWzebra ? 
is based
on GNU Zebra 0.92a, with many fixes, particularly to 'ospfd'. This 
project also
aims to update routing management, principally routeadm(1M), to support 
SMF.

For now, discussions and announcements related to the project will
remain on networking-discuss at opensolaris dot org, but we may create a
project-specific list in the future if needed
