I did a yum upgrade as usual. I'm aware of why they're created and what
they're for. I was just saying that I don't recall ever seeing one of those
files created for that specific file. Does that make more sense? I looked
through the file with syntax highlighting and it looked fine. I'm not sure
exactly what would be wrong with it anyway, since I can't discern at what
point in that file it would be failing. I'm not even sure that THAT is
what's causing my problem. Basically the service gets into a partially
running state and the webapp isn't accessible. I don't know how far along
it gets, though, as there doesn't seem to be a single log file that logs
how far it gets.
