Hi,

I am having a problem getting my OpenNms to start. I m receiving an error
"Could not connect to 127.0.0.1 on port 8181 (OpenNMS might not be running
or could be starting up or shutting down): Connection refused".

I am using a tomcat 5.5 under fedora 11. It seems like tomcat and postgresql
is working fine and service is running well. Btw, my tomcat runs at
localhost port 8080. I am able to open OpenNms via localhost and port 8080
as well and I was able to login but since the OpenNMS daemon is not working
-- I am not able to make use of it.

I have tried changing some configurations in the pg_hba and postgresql.conf
but to no avail. There's a solution that was mentioned by replacing *commons
*-collections-2.1.*jar* to *commons*-collections-3.2.*jar* but I think is
not applicable to my machine as I already have the *commons*
-collections-3.2.*jar* installed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jhinx26
