Actually, as I read the configuration file, this might not work
effectively. You can only match against things in the notifications
table and there's nothing in there about which threshold was exceeded.
There's no ability to use something like %parm[ds]%, which is what you'd
need to be able to match on. There might be a workaround, but I don't
see anything obvious.

I don't think threshold rearmed messages are configured to
auto-acknowledge threshold reached messages by default. You can
configure this though in the notifd-configuration.xml file. Just follow
the examples in there, make your changes (after backing up the file),
and restart OpenNMS. You should be good to go.

I have an event notification that is generated whenever a high threshold
is reached, but when the threshold is rearmed the notification is not
auto acknowledged as the rest of my notifications are when the event has
been reset.
