Let me answer this thread myself:

Its class-name in protocol-plugin definition should
be: "org.opennms.netmgt.capsd.GpPlugin" and in monitor
definition: "org.opennms.netmgt.poller.GpMonitor".
That's given in an example by David Hustace in
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=8774766
Now I have my Perl script working but still have one
issue: key="timeout" in protocol-plugin's property and
monitor's parameter are both value="3000". But my
script gets that argument value of 3 from OpenNMS when
being executed. Why is that?
