Hi Rafat,
I would like answer here on the public mailing list, probably there are others which \
have a similar question. You are free and welcome to apply. The travel cost to \
Minneapolis is quite expensive if you are a non-U.S. citizen and you don't have a \
financial background. For this reason the OpenNMS Foundation Europe e.V. supports \
people covering the cost for the flight from your nearest international airport to \
Minneapolis. Normally the cost for attending DevJam is:
USD 700 (~6800 MAD) for lodging
USD 800 (~7800 MAD) conference fee
Flight from Rabat to Minneapolis in your case ~1300€ (14300 MAD)
If you are accepted with your proposal you don't have to pay the conference fee and \
the flight to Minneapolis.
There is a chance the OpenNMS Group will sponsor the lodging with USD 700 for up to 2 \
people, but it is not confirmed yet. We just briefly talked about it at our last \
conference meeting. You should calculate the ~6800 MAD as your "Pocket Money" for the \
week which would include lodging and food.
