Yes, that would accomplish the goal of keeping the aggregated 24 hour values around \
for 6 months.

If I want to reduce the historical values in RRDs to 6 months, the configuration \

There are 3 aggregations of data kept:
1. keep 5min values around for 7 days.
2. aggregate 12 5min values, and keep those for 62 days.
3. aggregate 288 5 min values, and keep those for 366 days.

So some data is already kept for 6 months.
