My brain was not fully working when I sent this out. The instance of every varBind \
will be the RemotePeerAddr. Also, one should note that there are iBGP and eBGP \
which have different behaviors.
1. iBGP the peer will have the same AS as the local system and can be any number of \
hops away. 2. eBGP will have a different AS number and unless specially configured \
will be exactly one hop away. The BGP TCP session enforces this by setting the TTL \
for session to "1">
If an iBGP session is down then your internal systems will not be able to find the \
most efficient route to the destination.
If a eBGP session is down, then effectively all traffic to that ISP will not get \
routed unless there is also some form of static routing in addition to the BGP.
