Hello All,

Could you please let me know the steps to run the OpenNMS in Debug mode, so that when \
I run the application, I can debug through my code in eclipse.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rob,

I moved the <event-file>events/nagios-new.events.xml</event-file> line from the \
bottom, to the top of the start of teh <event-file></event-file> lines and it is now \
working

Thank you for your help

All the best,
Anthony Barlow

Just a couple of reminders since you appear to be fairly knowledgeable and I would \
expect you know this.

1. Did you put the Nagios rules early enough in the evend configuration file?
2. If you set the eventd to be in DEBUG mode you can watch the pattern matches of the \
incoming event.

Best wishes,

Jonathan

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, \
fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes

sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
