Hello all. New OpenNMS user here and in need of help. This is running on
CentOS 5.5
I am trying to monitor our TrendMicro AV servers' HTTPS page. The url is
https://server_name:4343 but it has a self-signed cert so a certificate
error is always generated for this server. I've modified my
poller-configuration.xml and capsd-configuration.xml files but still
nothing. Here is what I added to my capsd file:
<protocol-plugin protocol="HTTPS-4343"
class-name="org.opennms.netmgt.capsd.plugins.HttpsPlugin" scan="on">
<property key="port" value="4343" />
<property key="timeout" value="5000" />
<property key="retry" value="1" />
</protocol-plugin>
And here is what I added to my poller-configuration.xml file:
<service name="HTTPS-4343" interval="300000" user-defined="false"
status="on">
<parameter key="retry" value="1" />
<parameter key="timeout" value="5000" />
<parameter key="port" value="4343" />
<parameter key="url" value="/" />
</service>
<monitor service="HTTPS-4343"
class-name="org.opennms.netmgt.poller.monitors.HttpsMonitor" />
I've restarted the OpenNMS service and rescanned the node but with no luck.
I made the changes to the above files in both /opt/opennms/etc and
/opt/opennms/share/etc-pristine. Any ideas?
