Hi, we use OpenNMS to monitor our Avaya PBX systems. Currently we monitor
SNMP traps for trunk alarms from the PBX, but we can't figure out how to
filter those traps even further based on the trunk group number.
We'd like to distinguish which trunk group it came from (behind one IP
address could be multiple trunk groups) and send a notification from OpenNMS
based on that group number. In otherwords, we'd like to divide that so that
only the relevant tech gets the notification for their particular trunk
group. For example we want alarm notifications originating from trunk group
300 to send an email to user1, trunk group 150 to send an email to user2,
etc. Is there some way, using maybe thresholds to distinguish them?
Thanks for any info.
