Fixed on branch 1.8.

I added minor changes on branch 1.8 with some JUnit tests which verifies that
Absolute Change thresholds work as expected.

I created a small testing environment, on which I defined a simple absolute
threshold, and I can see the alarm on the WebUI.

Please try it compiling 1.8-SNAPSHOT or install tomorrow's nightly snapshot.
