This would probably be pretty trivial if you used:

http://html2fo.sourceforge.net/

to convert the HTML to XSL-FO and then Apache FOP to convert XSL-FO to PDF.
Might be a neato feature to have a "Convert to PDF" link on every page of the
UI just in case?

Hmmm actually this probably wouldn't work; it looks like that html2fo project
was abandoned about 8 years ago so it probably has zero CSS support.
