           Summary: N^2+1 Threshold problem
           Product: OpenNMS
           Version: SVN, trunk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P1
         Component: Thresholding
        AssignedTo: buglist at opennms.org
        ReportedBy: david at opennms.org

Noticed tons of parseAndReplace log entries for a node that had 4,000
interfaces. The problem is that for each interface in the DB, entire list of
interfaces is parse and replaced: (4000 * 4000) times for each interface level
threshold defined.
