Subject: constructing LDAP referrals above the base

Is it possible to construct a specific LDAP referral to a base above
my own base? For example, my base is "dc=spy,dc=net" and I would like
to construct a referral to any queries against my LDAP database for
dc=lackluster,dc=net to go the right direction. How would I accomplish
something like this?
