test004-modify fails with:
    comparison failed - modify operations did not complete correctly

The bug was introduced between 01:00 and 04:00 UTC at Sep 27.
That is, code from
    cvs -q update -D "Sep 27 01:00:00 UTC 2003"
works, while code from
    cvs -q update -D "Sep 27 04:00:00 UTC 2003"
fails.

The following files were modified in this period:

I enclose a tar file with the program output in tests/test.out and
the databases and ldifs in tests/test-db/.

To reproduce:

   ./configure --quiet --prefix=/usit/bombur/tmp/ldap --enable-aci \
               --enable-crypt --enable-bdb --enable-monitor
   ...
   cd tests
   make test-bdb # to create symlinks and directories
   ^C
   ./scripts/test004-modify . bdb yes yes no bdb
