This implementation is problematic as it overrides
the timeout parameter of all ldap_result(3) calls
when timeout was NULL.  A more appropriate approach
would have LDAP_OPT_TIMEOUT set a timeout pointer
in the session handle and then have all internal
ldap_result calls use that pointer instead of NULL.
