Dear OpenJMS users.

Has anyone else encountered performance bottlenecks when running
on Unix? We have built a quite simple application that provides
continous numbers for our Java clients (need those unique numbers 
for messaging purposes later).

That program simply publishes the request to a topic and waits 
for the arrival of the new ID on a designated queue.

Problem is the response time:

OpenJMS on Windows machine: 50 - 100 msec.
OpenJMS on Sun Solaris: >= 2.5 sec !

I would really appreciate any help on that problem.
